Fully integrated wave front-guided system

Zyoptix is the world's first fully integrated wave front-guided system for personalised vision correction.

Zywave analysis of the eye's wave front aberration and Orbscan maps of the corneal surface are combined via Zylink and transferred to the Bausch & Lomb Technolas 217z100 excimer laser. The laser uses built-in active infra-red eye tracking to produce personalised treatment for each individual.

This is called customised ablation and gives you the opportunity to obtain your best possible vision.

However, it is important to note that Zyoptix is not the best option for every patient.

How quickly will your eyes recover?

You should be able to see better in 1-2 hours after the treatment, but the most dramatic improvement will be noticed the morning following surgery. Most people return to their normal routine on the day after the treatment, including returning to work
